For questions about the processing of your personal data, or to exercise your rights, please contact the person named above.
Principles
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect only the data we need for the respective purpose, keep it only as long as that purpose requires, and protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
We process personal data in particular on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract or pre-contractual steps, to meet legal obligations, and on the basis of our overriding interest in operating this website securely.
Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law you have in particular the following rights:
- Access to the data processed about you (art. 25 FADP)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (art. 32 FADP)
- Erasure or destruction of data (art. 32 FADP)
- Release or transfer of your data (art. 28 FADP)
- Withdrawal of consent given — at any time and with effect for the future
- Objection to certain processing
A message to the contact named above is enough to exercise them. To prevent misuse we may need to identify you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Transport request via the contact form
The form on the “Contact” page lets you request a patient transport. In data protection terms this is the most sensitive processing on this website.
What we collect: reason for transport or diagnosis, the type of transport required, details of accompaniment and return journey, collection address and destination, date and time of transport, first name and surname, address, telephone number, date of birth, e-mail address and your message. Only the e-mail address and your consent are mandatory; every other field is optional.
Sensitive personal data: details of the reason for transport, the diagnosis and the date of birth are health data and count as sensitive under art. 5 lit. c FADP. We process them solely on the basis of your express consent, which you give when submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.
Purpose: assessing, planning and carrying out the requested transport, and communicating with you about it. The data is not used for advertising.
Recipients: your details are passed to the responsible department of MoPi.ch AG and processed there by the staff handling the transport. Transmission is by e-mail through a processor (see “E-mail dispatch”); delivery is restricted to encrypted connections.
Storage and erasure: the request is stored encrypted on our server and automatically deleted after 90 days at the latest. If a transport goes ahead, the data needed to carry it out and bill for it is processed separately in our business systems, where the statutory retention periods apply.
Protection against misuse: to keep out automated submissions we examine technical characteristics of the submission and limit the number of requests per internet connection. Your IP address is used only briefly for that limit and is not stored with the request.
Note: transports to be carried out on the same day must be booked by telephone: 0800 144 365.
E-mail dispatch
To send the form notifications we use Mailgun (Sinch Email) in the EU region. Mailgun processes the data as a processor within the meaning of art. 9 FADP, exclusively on our instructions; a corresponding agreement is in place.
The data is processed in data centres within the European Union. We instruct Mailgun to deliver only over an encrypted connection (TLS) and to use no open or click tracking.
Contact by e-mail or telephone
If you write to us or call us directly, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry. Please note that unencrypted e-mail is not a secure channel. Where possible, please send us information about your health through the contact form or by telephone instead.
Server log files and hosting
When this website is accessed, technically necessary data is logged automatically: the page requested, date and time, the amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, the referring page and the IP address. This data serves secure and trouble-free operation, is not combined with other sources and is deleted after a short time.
The website is operated at a hosting provider acting as a processor for us.
Cookies and consent
Technically necessary cookies make the website work — for instance protecting forms against misuse. They are set without consent because the site does not function without them.
All other cookies and comparable technologies — in particular for audience measurement — are used only after your consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings.
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
If you have consented, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to evaluate the use of our website statistically and improve it.
Your IP address is truncated before it is analysed. Transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; Google relies on standard contractual clauses for this. Without your consent no analytics script is loaded and no corresponding cookie is set.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings. You can also prevent collection using Google’s browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Job applications (Dualoo)
On the “Join MoPi” page we embed the job portal Dualoo. The portal is loaded only when you expressly request it — no connection to Dualoo takes place before that.
Once the portal is loaded, Dualoo’s privacy terms apply to the data collected there — including your application documents — alongside our own processing as an employer in the application procedure.
Feedback (Microsoft Forms)
For feedback on our services we link to a form from Microsoft Forms (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited). It is an external link; data is processed only if you follow it and enter details there. Microsoft’s privacy terms then apply in addition.
Online brochure (FlipHTML5)
Our school transport brochure can be read online through the external service FlipHTML5. This too is a link; data is transmitted to the provider only when you open it. We also make the brochure available as a PDF download, which involves no third party.
Location maps (links to Google Maps)
On the “Locations” page we show our own illustration of our sites and link each one to Google Maps. No map is embedded in our website: as long as you do not click such a link, no data is transmitted to Google. If you follow a link, Google’s privacy terms apply.
Fonts and other resources
All fonts, images and scripts on this website are delivered from our own server. No font libraries or third-party content delivery networks are called.
Disclosure abroad
We process personal data in principle in Switzerland and the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred to countries without an equivalent level of protection, we ensure appropriate protection through suitable safeguards — in particular standard contractual clauses — or base the transfer on a statutory exception under art. 17 FADP.
Data security
This website is transmitted exclusively in encrypted form (TLS); you can recognise this by the padlock symbol in your browser. Details from the transport form are additionally stored encrypted. Access to personal data is limited to the staff who need it to do their work.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may adapt this privacy policy if our processing or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page at the time applies.
